Itinerary
Day 1 Livingstone (Zambia)
Our epic journey begins in Livingstone, on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. Livingstone is the adrenaline capital of Africa and today we have the opportunity to take part in some of these exciting activities on offer. We end our day on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi taking in the natural beauty that this area is famed for - a fabulous introduction to the splendour of this mighty river. Evening spent camping on the banks of the Zambezi. (D)
Day 2 - 4 South Luangwa Nat. Park or Kariba
Kindly note that this part of the trip varies according to seasonal changes:
Rainy Season- We depart from Livingstone and head for the western shores of Lake Kariba, our base for the next few evenings. Kariba is one of the largest man made Lakes in the world and offers a wide diversity of Flora, Fauna and varied bird life. Here we have the option of spending our time aboard a houseboat on Kariba or simply relaxing at our campsite taking part in the local activities on offer. (Breakfast only on day 2 if on optional activities and BLD if not taking part in optional activities)

Dry Season- We depart Livingstone and make our way north via the capital of Lusaka, before moving along the Great East Road to our overnight camp on the Banks of the Luangwa River. The following day, we head for the South Luangwa National Park and camp on the perimeter of the Park. We then have the opportunity to explore this magnificent Park on open vehicle day and night drives as well as game walks. (Breakfast only on day 9 if on optional activities and BLD if not taking part in optional activities)
Day 5 Lilongwe (Malawi)
Today we make our way into Malawi, the ‘Warm Heart of Africa’. We travel to the Capital City of Lilongwe where we overnight.
Day 6- 9 Lake Malawi
We depart Lilongwe and head for the shores of Lake Malawi. The next four days will be spent exploring the western lakeshores taking part in the various water sport activities from the beachside campsites or simply enjoying the local Malawian culture. We travel further along the northern part of the Lake towards the Livingstonia Mountains, an area well known for great hikes and exploring the nearby craft markets. (BD) 
Day 10 Iringa (Tanzania)
After a truly relaxing couple of days, we head for Karonga and into Tanzania. We ascend out of the Great Rift Valley through some spectacular mountain passes and travel along the highland Tea plantations en route to our camp at Iringa. (BLD)
Day 11 Mikumi en route to Dar es Salaam
Our journey takes us through the Mikumi National Park where we have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife along the way. We travel through an area known as Baobab Valley en route to the historical port city of Dar es Salaam where our journey ends. (B)
